Healthcare-related personnel, facilities, and manufacturers are vital to fighting the novel COVID-19 disease, and the healthcare system requires flexibility to react fluidly to this uncertain situation. This webinar will address the current status of immunity declarations and how it may affect healthcare litigation. The webinar will also discuss which relevant federal regulatory provisions have been amended in response to the COVID-19 crisis, and how it affects both the healthcare system and the legal community. Finally, this webinar will discuss anticipated ways that plaintiffs’ counsel will attempt to circumvent these protections once the immediate crisis is over.
