These two webinars will address the insurance coverage issues that have arisen following Hurricanes Harvey and Irma in Texas and Florida, respectively. The presentations will address the types of issues that insurers and coverage attorneys have dealt with following the influx of claims arising from the Hurricane related damages arising from these two storms.

"Shannon O'Malley focuses her practice on analyzing complex and novel property insurance coverage issues that require an understanding of the intricacies of property insurance, especially in connection with time element claims. She works on numerous property insurance issues arising out of catastrophes such as tornados, hurricanes, floods, and hail. Shannon has also worked with clients in analyzing unique D&O liability issues and works with them to find the right answer when coverage questions arise.
Shannon provides advice and analysis to clients on coverage issues, pre-litigation strategy, dispute resolution, and litigation. The matters she handles frequently present unique issues on which there are limited precedents. "
Steve Badger represents the commercial property insurance industry in emerging and significant risk exposures, both as a plaintiff in large loss catastrophe subrogation matters and as a defendant in coverage matters involving weather related litigation. Currently, Steve’s practice is devoted entirely to leading the insurance industry response to the emerging hail risk. His practice focuses solely on addressing the issues arising in hail damage claims and resulting litigation. Prior to his hail work, Steve devoted a decade of his career to leading the $5 billion subrogation action arising from the 9/11 Terrorist Attack. As a lead lawyer on the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee, Steve was involved in directing all aspects of the action on behalf of the entire group of property damage plaintiffs.
