David Curle

David Curle is Director, Market Intelligence for the Legal Executive Institute of Thomson Reuters, where he serves as internal and external expert on innovation and technology in the legal industry. He started his career as a Westlaw Reference Attorney in 1985. He returned to Thomson Reuters from the information industry research and consulting firm Outsell, Inc. where he spent 14 years, including several as the lead analyst in the Legal, Tax and Regulatory segment. David has increasingly turned his focus to external thought leadership activities – including writing for Legal Executive Institute and speaking at industry conferences, and engaging with various legal technology and innovation related partnerships, including the CodeX Center at Stanford University. He holds a B.A. from Lawrence University and a J.D. from the University of Minnesota, School of Law. He is fluent in Swedish and is an authority on baseball.
